Instagram advertising doesn't require a Facebook Business account, contrary to popular belief (though having one can be helpful). Don't assume that your ad strategy for Facebook will translate directly to Instagram, and vice versa, just because Facebook owns Instagram. As 75% of Instagram's user base is comprised of young adults, businesses catering to this demographic have a better chance of selling their products on Instagram than on any other social media site.
