Gitea runs on a variety of operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, Linux, ARM, and others. In addition, the community is being built and managed for a Go-based lightweight code hosting solution. Gitea was released under the MIT license. Not only that but installing Gitea is a delight and has low minimal needs, allowing it to run everywhere. Furthermore, because it is an open-source system anyone can participate.
